Katie was introduced to pickleball in 2020 alongside her husband after being invited by family friends. Quickly discovering a sport they could enjoy together both socially and competitively, what began as a fun way to stay active after work soon became a central part of her life, fueled by the welcoming and energetic pickleball community.  

 

Through the sport, Katie has built lasting friendships and shared countless adventures, from traveling to tournaments to hiking, camping, and even running marathons with fellow players. She joined the Golden State Rangers to continue competing alongside friends and to be part of a team that reflects the camaraderie and connection she values most about the game.
